Situated in a small walking street, it was nice to sit outdoors on a hot evening enjoying my dinner while catching up with a friend. The service was friendly and quick. The tables were clean. The attendant was even shooing pigeons away even though tables were empty. That made me feel there's attention to cleanliness.

We live in Alkenrath and we walk over to Schlebusch quite frequently with our trusty dog, Bero. We often stop by here for something to drink or a bit to eat. Today the four of us in the family found one of the remaining seats outside and settled down. A bright young lady was soon with us to take our order - Apfelstrüdel, ice coffees etc. She also brought Bero a welcoming bowl of water (still, not sprüdel) as he was dying of thirst. All good. Oh, and the restrooms at the back of this establishment are clean and functional.

Very tasty Apple Strudel, good coffee and ice cream You can pay in cash only and this is not convenient... We have asked one lady (waiter) to clean up dishes as we had no free space on our table ... but she reacted very unfriendly for unknown reasons. Such simple things must be done actually without notifications just as a part of regular service... therefore I will give maximum 3 stars for the service
